Bullet Eater v1.2


Hello everyone, I hope you are all having nice days lately.

 I'm releasing a new update to Bullet Eater. Still not sure how far I'll go with these, but so far I'm trying to have fun while making a bigger/longer game. Who knows, it might end up being worthy of asking 5 bucks for, or something like that. We'll see!

 Here's the new stuff:

  • Bullets:
    • Now, there are un-eatable bullets. I still should mention they on the tutorial, though...
  • Bullet emission:
    • Refactored basically all the bullet creation and behavior;
    • So, most bosses will be playing differently now;
  • Ships:


    • Now they are using Godot Custom Resources;
    • This changes things mainly on the technical part of things. Still, it might help adding mod support one day. Who knows;
  • New polish:
    • On the ship selection screen, the ship cards have a minor highlight now;
    • On the ship selection screen, you can select a random ship;
    • While eating, the ships will leave a dither trail; 
    • New accessibility options:
      • Instead of holding the eat button to eat bullets, you can toggle it;
      • Instead of holding the eat button to shoot, you can toggle it;
      • And you can also disable shaders. Right now, this is basically the dither trail while eating;
    • Your progress and preferences will be saved for future playthroughs;

 Since gameplay wise things are basically the same and I feel I didn't test this version enough, I'll be leaving the HTML5 version on 1.2.
